Every sitter goes through a thorough application and approval process before they can accept bookings. This includes submitting a government ID for identity verification, passing a basic knowledge test on pet care and needs, showing genuine interest in pet sitting, and submitting references. Our team manually reviews each application one by one, and rejects any application deemed incompatible with Sit's standards. Owners can also read reviews from past bookings before choosing a sitter.

Payments happen entirely in the app through secure, encrypted processing. No cash handed to a stranger, no negotiating outside the platform. You're covered if there's a problem with a booking.

We currently have 800+ verified, registered sitters, mostly across Casablanca, Rabat–Salé, Marrakech, Salé, Tangier, Témara, Agadir, and Fes.

Yes, you can request a booking for any time from sitters near you and see if anyone accepts.

Apply directly through the app. You'll submit your profile and ID for verification. Our team manually reviews each application to assess eligibility and fit. We're selective about who we approve, because pet owners trust us to connect them with sitters they can rely on. Once approved, you'll get onboarding tips and can start accepting bookings from owners nearby.

Earnings go into your in-app wallet after a booking is completed, with a 12-hour hold period to cover the dispute window. From there you can withdraw via bank transfer. Sitters keep 80% of each booking, with the remaining 20% going to Sit as commission.

That's entirely up to you. Bookings are only confirmed once you accept them. Until then, you and the pet owner can chat in the app, ask questions, and see if it's a good fit before any payment or confirmation happens. If it's not right for you, you're free to decline.

No, it's only reviewed internally by the Sit team for verification. It's never shown to clients or displayed on your public profile.

No, you only pick the services you're willing to provide, and you set your own prices for each one.

No, we're currently unable to verify pet owners the same way we verify sitters. We advise sitters to take standard precautions when meeting or interacting with pet owners, just as you would with any new client.

Sit has a dispute and report system built in. If there's an issue, on either side, you can report it through the app and the Sit team will step in to help resolve it. All bookings made and paid in the app are protected by Sit's Goodwill Guarantee, covering refunds plus up to 5,000 MAD in support if something goes wrong.
